Praise the Lord! Cold weather, cold rain showers and very strong winds!
This means no big packs of screaming kids or - for that matter - screaming parents ("CAN YOU SEE THE BEAR, DEAR?!!!!"); no convoys of noisy "trolleys" (is that what they are called, the wooden wagons that the zoo lend to the parents to transport their screaming kids in - making appr. the same noise as that morning when there was a military exercise in my city and I was woken upp by fifty tanks driving down my street... ?)
In other words, a grumpy old man can have his walk about the premises without being TO MUCH irritated by the other visitors. That is just fine!
I even took a picture of these birds, something I had not done before.
To bad I had forgotten to load my camera battery -the damn piece of Japanese high tech gave up after only a couple of hours...
