This side held Hamadryas baboons until 2016, when the whole group was sent to Tbilisi Zoo, Georgia to replace animals lost in that zoo's flooding. The baboons were already a phase-out species at Antwerp and their departure allowed the mandrills to be given welcome additional exhibit space.
