Would be grateful for some help here. The angelfish in the bottom left is an albino Freshwater, but unsure beyond that. Five rainbowfish (I assume the size difference in the top middle individual is purely down to gender?), as well as another angelfish species (centre) and a knifefish (top right) and a pleco in the background, but unsure as to the exact species.
Boeseman's rainbowfish (Melanotaenia herbertaxelrodi) a red rainbowfish (Glossolepis incisus) and a siamese algae eater (Crossocheilus oblongus) on the substrate.
@Swampy Thank you! Didn't even notice that there was an algae-eater in the photo. Although they're often displayed poorly, it fascinates me how many species that are rare in public collections are abundant in private ones.
@Swampy The more I look, the more I notice. I just now realised that there are even three plecos (one besides the algae-eater, one beside the albino angelfish, and one on the plants just above the rainbowfish)!
The plecs just look like regular Bristlenose Plecs. The one on the sand next to the algae-eater is a Peppered Corydoras. The angelfish are both the same. I can't see any knifefish in the photo.
@Great Argus I was uhming and aahing about the one on the left so only mentioned the species I was certain of.
Even at that size, wouldn't herbertaxelrodi have more red hues in its fins?
