One of my favorite species of cat, I was struck when seeing the individuals at Exmoor just how closely they resembled the Amur Leopard Cat (Prionailurus bengalensis euptilura) which I saw last year - much more closely than the Amur cat resembles the nominate. This has solidified my belief that the Amur Cat deserves full specific status.
