All these aviaries are a relatively recent addition to the park (from the last 8 years or so), this one being one of the newest. And they make the walk safari much better
I am curious about your thoughts of this relatively unknown zoo, which I think is one of the best six Dutch zoos.
I really enjoyed Beekse Bergen. The concept is good, the execution is generally very good, it has an interesting animal collection and I struggle to think of a disappointing enclosure there. Genuinely hard to think of a bad word to say about the place - even the tour guide on the boat safari was excessively friendly and very particular about translating everything for us as she went along even though we were the only non-Dutch passengers.
