These look like they are greater flamingos. Also this doesn't look like the zoo's flamingo exhibit. Where was this species kept and what happened to them?
I agree that they look like greater flamingos. I didnt think they looked like the other flamingos. I dont know where they were kept but I can tell you the photo was taken immediately after the Carribean flamingo photo so they must have been in the same area perhaps the same exhibit.
I decided to look it up and see if we had Greaters. We did from opening until 2000 when the remaining flock members went to Mountainview Conservation and Breeding Centre. Our last chick hatched in 1994. I don't remember any other exhibit for flamingos but the one at the Mayan Temple. Does anyone have any idea?
