Flamingos

Does anyone know where this is? I don't think it's at Dudley and it was kept separate from the other photos. Year also unknown.

It's either Slimbridge or the Flamingo Gardens that used to be at Weston Underwood. As far as I know, these are the only two UK collections that have ever had Andean Flamingos, some of which are in the picture. ZSL may ave had Andeans, but this does not look like any of the enclosures they have had Flamingos in, in my time.

I think it's Slimbridge. It's been a very long time since I visited Flamingo Gardens, and I don't remember much about the flamingo housing there, but this shot only rings my Slimbridge bells.
It looks like the far end of the house that currently houses the Andean flamingoes (with a few others including old Mr James). It previously housed the lesser flamingoes, when the Andeans were with the Chileans. But I think this image is probably from the previous time that the Andeans were housed in this pen and it may be quite old, perhaps from the 1970s. The fence visible to the right of the house has since been removed, to provide a larger grassed area and a larger pool for the flock.

This is not Weston Underwood. The house looks like a Wildfowl Trust design and reminds me of the one used for Chileans on the 'house pond' at Peakirk.
