This was the first time I had seen Flora and she was in a very poor condition. A keeper told me she had been much worse on arrival. The zoo did a superb job with her and she was soon unrecognisable as the animal that had arrived.

Poor Flora, she came in a terrible condition. She just wanted some TLC. I worked with Flora for 12 months and considering that 'so called humans' had treated her with such evilness, she was brave enough to trust her and help her. I just hope that she is having a fabulous time at Plant sauvage (France).
My pleasure. I do not know too much about Flora other than she arrived at Dudley from the Chipperfield Organisation in January 1998 and that she had previously had a spell at Twycross in 1996/97 when Tonzi and Minbu had been sent to Chester to be mated by Chang.
