Former african elephant exhibit - Zoo São Paulo

This now empty exhibit held a single female named Teresita until her death in 2018. She was the only african elephant who ever lived at the zoo.

@David Matos Mendes Does the zoo plan to receive new elephants?

@Wyman They keep two female asian elephants living in a former wisent exhibit. I even thought they would move them to this place when the african female died, but I don't think the zoo considers it to be an actual improvement, once this is not larger than their present home.

The zoo's white rhino exhibit is right behind this one though, so I think it would be a nice improvement to remove the fence that separates them and give the two rhinos some more space. I believe the zoo might have plans to do it in the future.
