July 29th, 2012. There are actually two enclosures for Malagasy fosa (no longer known as fossas) and with last year’s breeding success the zoo currently has 6 of the creatures in a fairly new complex that opened in 2008. It appears to be spectacular from a distance and in truth both habitats are loaded with climbing opportunities and soft substrate.
