Freiflughalle - First section, South American wetland walk-through, 2024-05-21

Species list according to signage and observation:

• Scarlet ibis
• Roseate spoonbill
• Norther Marail guan
• Southern lapwing
• Maguari stork
• Horned screamer
• Crested screamer
• Peruvian thick-knee
• Ringed teal
• Red shoveler
• Black-bellied whistling duck
• Giant wood rail

I saw the species in bold.

I did not see the southern lapwing in this aviary, but I did see it in the second and smaller coastal section of the Freiflughalle. I did not see the Peruvian thick-knee (which was labeled for both sections) anywhere.
