Otorohanga Kiwi House April 2011.
Technically not in the Kiwi House & Bird Park, but in a row of a few, large aviaries in an adjacent public park managed by the Kiwi House staff. This very friendly NZ Wood Pigeon follows visitors along the side of its aviary, landing as close as possible and demanding food (I think that was what he was implying anyway). The electric wire run along the aviary is presumably to stop cats climbing the aviary.
