Elephas Maximus

Front leg

How good the condition is?
EM, you can only say when using infrared technology. It is non-invasive and easy to use in a zoo environment.

Secondly, I do not know what the level of training / conditioning is in Ekaterinenburg … (I somehow suspect / assume little if any …).

No contact (only washing with hose and giving treats to the trunk).
Elephant house construction didn't include the bfence system needed for protected contact. And no way this elephant can be managed in free contact, because she's a killer (still I applause her for crushing trainer at last).

Look here for video from Dvur Kralove.

Are you sure it can´t be replicated in Jekaterinburg? An ex-circus animal already knows many commands. Training for footcare can´t take long time for her. How many elephants are there actually?

How many elephants are there actually?
Of course only one :( 2 females were planned to import from SEA, but we took this unwanted female from Durov's Animal theater in Moscow.
Look what they did to another female:

When our elephant arrived she had overgrown feet soles, but they became thinner due to special floor coating.
