I saw a Fulmar in the 1990s at Pensarn, sitting on a wall. I thought it was a gull until I noticed the bill. Until then I didn't realise they came inshore.
@bongorob I too only see them like this during the breeding season. I find all these birds who spend most of their lives at sea fascinating. I also had no idea before looking into them more that Fulmars are so long lived. Worth a few trips to the cliffs at this time of year to see them.
