@Jambo Interesting. Thanks for the information. I assume she would of be on display with Kiani, though she was the only one I saw at the open-topped enclosure.
@Jambo To be honest I'm not that familiar with Melbourne's zoo orangutans, but this is what I saw;
Open-topped enclosure- One female (Gabby)
Netted enclosure- One male (Santan), and two? females hiding under blankets.
Other indoor enclosure- empty
The two females in the netted enclosure would’ve been Maimunah and her daughter, Dewi who are sometimes displayed with Santan. The orangutans in the open topped enclosure have access inside as they do outside so Kiani and Menyaru would’ve chosen to be inside rather than out.
