A small peek at the Ganges River zone's gharial exhibit at the far end (expand the pic and you can spot the gharial). This is the view from the already-open panda exhibit waiting area. Other species that will occupy the Ganges zone include the Narrow-headed softshelled turtle and Goonch catfish.
To the right of the photo is the entire Murray River zone, the smallest of the 8 river zones. It has only one not-very-big main tank (for Murray Cod, Barramundi and Lungfish) and a few small tank displays.
