I presume that you were not fortunate enough to visit Bempton Cliffs on one of the rare - but increasing in frequency - occasions when the vagrant Black-billed Albatross which has spent the last half-dozen summers across the North Sea in Helgoland has decided to visit......

Worth checking any photographs you might have of the gannet colony, in any case ;)

No, the albatross wasn't there when I visited as far as I know. A volunteer said he thought the albatross was over in the Netherlands at the time.

Also, it's a Black-browed Albatross I believe which I have been fortunate enough to see before in Australia.
