This tank was labelled as housing Northland green gecko (Naultinus grayii) and forest gecko (Hoplodactylus granulatus), although I saw no hint of the latter.
The museum has several live animal displays scattered through the collection. The reason I visited was mainly to see the Weird And Wonderful room which apparently has many live animals, but that area was closed for renovations until November!
