Gemsbok are one of those animals I always have to remind myself is really rare in the UK now... With Whipsnade being the only holder currently. I remember Chester had them until around 10 years ago or so and I believe Marwell also did. If Marwell kept them on they would have all 4 species of oryx right now!
@Fallax Marwell (even London) housing Gemsbok again would be a dream come true... Woburn safari park housed them back in 2010 however I don't know when they went out of them.
