Does anyone know if the zoo has sourced out replacements for its gharials? Are there going to be gharials kept here in the future? Hopefully, as the exhibit is outstanding...much like the entire Reptile Mesa area at the zoo.
I believe those 2 died. The zoo received 10 juveniles last year. They are on exhibit along Tiger Trail. There are Johnston's crocodiles in the old gharial exhibit on Reptile Walk.
