A long exposure (ten seconds) on a tripod with the keeper shining a flashlight (or torch for UK people) on the elephant. Converted from color to black and white in Photoshop Elements.
The tripod kept the background sharp and the rocking of the elephant gave it the slightly blurry/ghost effect. The flashlight/torch made the elephant lighter and I think I may have lightened her even more in Elements. Obviously a night shot, taken during one of their special summer evening openings.
