Great to see an anteater up and about during daylight hours, rather than curled up in a ball. Clearly, the large number of zoo visitors enjoying the appearance of this individual indicate how popular such an animal can be to the ‘normal‘ zoo visitor – which makes the decision by London zoo to cease keeping this species all the more puzzling.
