I presume they are hoping the pair will breed soon, and they can then display a bigger group (a 'pack') which is how they live in the wild and at places like Duisburg Zoo. Regarding the height, I've no idea what's planned but someone suggested water slides?

I love watching the Giant Otters they are a fabulous exhibit when they are around as they are very active, very inquizative and extremely vocal (earsplittingly so!!) catch them at feeding time and you're in for a treat!
How would you rate them as an exhibit against the Sealions they replaced?
Do you think Chester have been exonerated from the comments that appeared on here (myself included) about how losing the Sealions might be a bad move exhibitwise?
