Do they have underwater viewing for the giant otters?
I hope you don't mind all the questions. I am really curious what this Gondwanaland exhibit is about and it seems unlikely that I will ever be visiting it.
Thanks BjoernN. Does the actual exhibit look anything like this image? It appears to be a computer simulation of the underwater otter viewing window...it was the only image that I could find.
In terms of the window itself, there is a view above the water level as well as underwater in the final window and the window is lower in relation to the visitors.
I think the best way to put it would be to say I think the giant otters have the best-designed exhibit in the building - my 'favourites' are too easily swayed by rarer species!
And it says a lot about Leipzig that Giant Otters aren't the big rarities in this house...
So what would you class as the "big rarities" in this house other than the otters?
I'm guessing the living fossils all hold a special place in your heart!
