I don't think its huge,probably 6' x 6'. Better than nothing I suppose. I don't know what other Giant otter holders have in their indoor accommodation? I have only seen giant otters at 2 other zoo's, 1 being South lakes and the other being Chester. I cant remember either having viewing windows into their indoor areas so I cant say what they have in them.
I will have a closer look next time I am at YWP,and try and get a photo of the otters using the pool to give some sort of scale. I don't think it was quite finished when I took the original photo.

South Lakes used to have indoor viewing I believe, but the viewing windows are now boarded up.
Chester does have indoor viewing, as can be seen in the following images - the first of which was taken prior to completion of the exhibit, and hence indicating the depth of the water in the interior pool:
