Giant Panda

Toronto Zoo visitors miss Eurasia which has been closed for two long years for renovation, so I am posting a few pictures, some quite old, some from the Zoomobile drive-through that opened last spring, some from Red Panda Day, and of course one of the Giant Pandas who arrived last year.

What on earth was he doing? At first I thought nice shot of him hugging a stick while sleeping but the stick is wet and water is splashing.

I believe it is a picture of Da Mao sleeping on a stick. The water is coming from the top of the rock waterfall that is part of the pool area.

Exactly - the only picture I took that day because he was right out.

Ok that explains the water. I thought he looked asleep but the water didnt make sense. Both times I have gone both pandas were inside so I never bothered with looking at his outdoor exhibit. Thanks for answering the question.
