I'm undecided on this exhibit, but it certainly has a ton of climbing opportunities for the apes. "Ruined temple" themes (like at many zoos) are not technically naturalistic, and I always think that the zoo could have simply put up a fence around a wooded area and thus created a much better habitat for the occupants.

Not really the point at a Disney facility (at $50+ per head, the expectations are much greater than a simple animal habitat). As for what is now the dubbed on this site the "Swedish approach" of simple fences around existing forest, I question its value for animals not found in the native habitats so enclosed. Maybe good for the animals, but zoos exist primarily for people, and I prefer seeing bongos in a replica of an African rainforest, not in a northern Euopean woodland.......for example.

We there at the beginng!:D

Will be interesting to see if it takes off. I like it.

So do they use the whole of this exhibit?

Where do the overhead lines lead to?

Large columns over the visitor area. I've seen the siamangs out on these before, it's pretty neat

Is it like DC zoo orangs? Sounds great. Want pictures :D please

Unfortunately, the time I saw them up there, I was cameraless. Anyone else have any pictures?
