I'm undecided on this exhibit, but it certainly has a ton of climbing opportunities for the apes. "Ruined temple" themes (like at many zoos) are not technically naturalistic, and I always think that the zoo could have simply put up a fence around a wooded area and thus created a much better habitat for the occupants.
Not really the point at a Disney facility (at $50+ per head, the expectations are much greater than a simple animal habitat). As for what is now the dubbed on this site the "Swedish approach" of simple fences around existing forest, I question its value for animals not found in the native habitats so enclosed. Maybe good for the animals, but zoos exist primarily for people, and I prefer seeing bongos in a replica of an African rainforest, not in a northern Euopean woodland.......for example.
