Mm, nice photo giving a better view, though I am yet to be convinced that they will not eat those fresh-looking little trees!! (I have seen it happen before elsewhere.)
Well that Giraffe is approx. 4 metres tall,and they only grow to about 6 metres so they wont be able to reach until the trees get large and the branches then hang down to them. Unless they manage to climb up the slope of course as 1 did very early on when the exhibit was created. That's why there is a row of rocks on top to discourage them further.
