is there anything stopping the baboons getting onto that visitor walkway?

When I visited a baboon slipped through the fence and started foraging in the grass. I tried to find a keeper but none were near, it eventually went back in after a few minutes.

Presumably because the grass under the walkway is much lusher and it knew that. Maybe it does it every day..

The road/motorway is very close- I believe a rhino may have escaped onto it some years ago.

It was a near miss - he escaped and was heading for it. Unfortunately (or fortunately for the people in there cars) he fell into a ditch and was then shot before getting any further
