Giraffe subspecies?

Taipei Zoo has reticulated giraffes, but they were imported from the USA so probably aren't pure (USA stock is treated as a hybrid mix).

Just asking. the two giraffe seems to have different colour(one darker and one lighter), but they are the same subspecies?

they were from two different imports from the USA, so it is probably either individual variation or dependent on their parents' genetics. They are all supposed to be "reticulated" though (i.e. they are all called reticulated giraffes but are probably not pure animals).
