Opened in 1988, one of the exhibits surrounding the elephant and giraffe house is the savannah enclosure. Currently a successful breeding herd of Rothschild Giraffes, Grants Zebra and Southern Ostrich live here. The outdoor enclosure has gone through some recent modifications.
