Part of the outdoor island for common chimpanzees (Pan troglodytes) outside the Chimpanzee House in Givskud Zoo.
The island is 1133 km2 in size and surrounded by a water moat to one side and electric fence to the other one. A few protected trees provides shade and the island is furnished with basic climbing frames, grass and bushes and enrichment activities.
The Chimpanzee House and outdoor island opened in 1987.
