Part of the Wolf Woods exhibit in the North American section in Givskud Zoo. In here lives a pack of Alaskan timber wolves (Canis lupus occidentalis).
The Wolf Woods in Givskud Zoo opened in 2002 and consists mainly of natural forest. The visitors view the wolves from log cabins that look like old trapper huts as well as various viewing areas.
The wolf exhibit in Givskud is one of the best I have ever seen. The landscape is varied, the visitor experience is exciting and the educational aspect as very well done.
