Golden coin turtle out of the water

RotRA, Chester, 30th March 2023
aka Chinese three-striped box turtle,Cuora trifasciata.
I first saw this species in 2011, on a ZooChat Walk and Talk tour of the reptile section. They were kept off-show in the Tropical House. The species was subsequently put on show in 'Dragons in Danger' and now in the last vivarium in RotRA. But previously I have always seen just a nose sticking out of the water and the golden coin (the circular yellow patch on the crown). I was so surprised when this one left the water while I was getting my camera ready.

Funnily enough, most times I have seen these at the zoo they have been out of the water contrary to your experience.
