This could become an iconic San Diego exhibit for zoo nerds, simply because if one didn't know any better they would guess that this was an indoor enclosure for marmosets, lemurs or some kind of squirrel. I've seen Koala areas that are about the same size and the fact that the exhibit holds insects is fantastic. It must be the best stick insect enclosure in the world.
Agreed. This and the similar exhibit for giant log-legged katydids across the hall are absolutely fantastic. It’s easy for the average visitor to skim over smaller insect terrariums, but these enormous displays are really attention grabbing.
