Jambo in the original (and very small) 'Brian Parke Gorilla Complex'. Its been used for Orangutans, Fruit Bats and now as a Chough aviary since the Gorillas moved out. When Jambo first arrived as a ten year old blackback, and was let outside, he quickly ascended the climbing frame in the centre of the outdoor area and from there nimbly jumped onto the perimeter wall. Fortunately they managed to entice him back down on the correct side of it again.
The climbing frame was quickly cut to half its height....
