How would you rank this gorilla exhibit? It certainly looks pretty from a visitor's perspective.

Yes, it is certainly pretty from a visitor's perspective. The gorillas have a choice of areas in which to sit, such as a shaded area by the viewing window, the grassy part of the enclosure or the area around the rocks. Ernst seemed to prefer to stay near the window the whole day, but Kim moved from there to the rocks later in the day. They are an old couple and are probably quite happy not to have climbing frames or anything like that, but I'm not sure what sort of enrichment is provided for them.

The De Brazza's monkeys who share the enclosure were very nimble on the branches across the water so it is certainly suited to them. The youngster was running around all over the place!
