I know that the feeding of the gorillas is a must-see highlight of this primate zoo, but are the apes easily spotted when there isn't a feeding program? Also, how large is the exhibit? It appears to be enormous in this photo, but the panoramic view skews the perspective.
It is roughly 3.5 acres large, so a very impressive enclosure, certainly the best Gorilla outdoors I have seen, it is a shame that the indoors does not meet the standard of the outdoors. The gorillas were rather visible, although the show meant that we saw the whole group together.
