When I visited this zoo in August of 2008 I heard people gasping with delight at this indoor gorilla area. However, the pretty waterfall and massive fake tree in the centre are "eye candy" for what is essentially a fairly barren, moated enclosure. There is more to this exhibit than meets the eye, but Fort Worth essentially has a fantastic ape collection (all 4 species) in average to substandard enclosures.
