The feeding of the gorillas at Apenheul is one of the great zoo-sights in Europe (alongside the fairly similar experience at Vallee des Singes in France). I know it's a simplistic way of looking at things, but it's very hard not to think of the animals at a place such as Twycross, and compare their conditions to those enjoyed here.
