@gentle lemur - just luck I guess; on my annual visit to Chester, this one was mostly hidden during the hour or so (late afternoon) which I spent in Hidden Savannah, but popped out briefly near the front/centre of the mixed exhibit.
They are skittish at my zoo too. The Oklahoma City Zoo has had a pair of these as well for the past two years. In seven visits, I've only seen the female once and the male once (different trips).
