The aquarium was originally built between 1908 and 1911 and has been beautifully restored. Saltwater tank on the left, freshwater tanks on the right, living reef all the way in the back. The blue color is not an artefact of the image.

@MonkeyBat It is quite a large hall indeed, I would guess it to be at least 60 meters in length. They have a pretty broad fish collection from different regions, from temperate to tropical waters. Their collection does include some species that are not as commonly seen in zoos and aquaria, for example in the African river tank. Unfortunately I'm not that good with fish so I cannot really give you detailed information on that collection. That said some of my personal favorites in there are the tigerfish, golden dorado, bamboo shark and wobbegong.
