Grapes in aviary

This was interesting. Several cages had a grape vine planted in the aviary. The vine grew up to the roof (either straight up or from the middle of the cage or trained up a wall) and would then grow along the roof. The foliage was quite dense and provided cool shade in the cages. Grapes would hang down (and would be eaten by frugivorous species, I presume). This is a Barn Owl cage, who obviously have no intention of giving up dead rodents for bunch of Semillons.
