There are three enclosures; each one about the same. The exhibit is not exceptional, but it does provide them space and enrichment. The Great Cat area will be redone in the next decade to coincide with the Master Plan. In total the zoo has three lions (2 female, 1 male). Both females are due within the next few weeks and curators hope this will start a new lion pride in the U.S. All three lions came from a private reserve in South Africa, so new genes in the pool will be very nice. They also have two Sumatran tigers, a mother and son.
