July 2019, El Valle de Anton. For more details about this sighting and my Panama trip in general, look here: https://www.zoochat.com/community/threads/vision-visits-panama-the-quest-for-a-quetzal.473780/
This species is maybe the most common bird in Panama (and Costa Rica)... I got a decent photo on my first full day in Panama and didn't give much attention to the grackles for the rest of my trip.

Indeed! I kept seeing them everywhere, but not often well in places where I had my camera out so I didn't get a picture until fairly late into the trip. They were indeed everywhere though, and by far the bird I saw the most often on the entire trip. Other very common birds were black and turkey vultures, tropical kingbirds, clay-colored thrushes and at the Pacific coast magnificent frigatebirds and brown pelicans.
