Great shot of one of my favourite animals. I am planning a trip to this excellent zoo in July, what time did you see the Grison because it is high up on my long list of species at the collection I want to see most.
I saw both individuals in this enclosure numerous times throughout the day, the top left corner of the enclosure is where the run leads from their house to the outdoor enclosure and this individual in the photograph spent a lot of time using the run. Just to give you the heads up, trying to get decent photographs of grison in this enclosure can be quite difficult due to the fencing depending on where they are. Since they arrived a few years back, I’ve seen them on each of my three visits to Hamerton, so barring poor weather and any unexpected occurrences (off-show/health problems) you should see them in the afternoon.
@Baringogiraffe12 thank you, I last went in 2019 and did see them, but couldn’t get a great photo as the enclosure doesn’t give that much of a chance to get one as you say. Fantastic animals though and always a pleasure to see.
