Green Anaconda/Diving Lizard Exhibit

November 7th, 2013.
There are 2 green anacondas in this exhibit, along with at least 2 diving lizards (uranoscodon superciliosus) amongst the branches.

Anacondas would not eat the lizards?

I visit the aquarium on average about 6 times each year and the anacondas are completely submerged almost 100% of the time. In this photo one of the snakes can be seen in the bottom left-hand corner in the water. The lizards are quite long and are usually found in the upper sections of the branches and therefore they are out of reach of the lethargic anacondas.
