SivatheriumGuy 11 Jun 2025 These are Common zebras (Equus quagga)! If I had to pin down a subspecies they look the most like Grant's zebras (Equus quagga boehmi).

Wisp O' Mist 17 Sep 2025 @SivatheriumGuy There are no purebred Grant's zebra in the US, unfortunately. So while these guys might most resemble Grant's, they're doubtlessly generics. Probably a motley mix between Burchell's, Chapman's, and yes, Grant's, as those were three most common subspecies imported back in the day.

Wisp O' Mist 17 Sep 2025 @LordWolf16 They are zoomix zebra. Contrary to how zoos typically sign them, there are no purebreds of any of the six Plains zebra subspecies in North America. Even the AZA manages them as a generic population.
