greyish eagle-owl or vermiculated eagle-owl (Bubo cinerascens)

After looking through the owls of Ethiopia, this looks most similar to the Verreaux's eagle owl (Bubo lacteus) or the grayish eagle owl (Bubo cinerascens)

I looked the Greyish eagle owl up as it is a new species for me and found this photo which is almost identical to yours, just with brighter lighting and from a closer perspective!



I think it's a Greyish eagle owl.

That's the same photo I came to my conclusion with @amur leopard !!
