There are loads of photos of this exhibit in the ZooChat gallery, and it is one of many award-winners at Woodland Park Zoo. The grizzly bear exhibit is part of the "Northern Trail" section of the zoo, and it opened in 1994.
My only visit to WPZ was in 1996, when I had the privilege of seeing this outstanding habitat. I hope to make it back again someday to see the many new additions since then.
I can't believe this outstanding exhibit was built in 1994 and is still better then countless (sometimes newer) exhibits all of the world. I think Woodland Park Zoo is definatly in my must visits.
